R.I.P. Marcus Laurent

Marcus Laurent, I didn’t get a chance to talk to you in last few months but God gave me a chance to be around you for the last two years. They were great times, like being back in high school all over again. Whether we were arguing about comic book characters, movies, cartoons music or life in general we always got a good laugh out of it, you always stayed strong and made sure to give me your honesty and advice when needed.

R.I.P. Partnah, you will be missed but never forgotten. Much love and respect.

I’m In Maryland

I haven’t traveled out of state in a while. Never really cared to actually. I have a good reason to now: My father. After 17 years of incarceration my father has been released. And I have to admit there’s no words to describe how it feels talking to him face to face instead of over the phone with a 15 minute time limit. We’ve got a week to hang out together before he has to return to the V.I. and I have to return to New York. I’ll post some pics when I get a chance.

Lunch Time Grand Prix

The Nintendo DS is a great piece of hardware. Everyday at lunch my coworkers and I just link up our DS’s and have a Mario Kart DS tournament. Suffice to say we have been told to keep the screams of agony, rage and hate down. The game is fun, but it definitely brings out the worst in you, especially when you get really competitive and the computer or the people you’re playing against always get the better items. It’s a great game and a good way to pass the time :boogie: .
