BG2 Productions has been around for quite a while. Well, mostly in my head anyway.
Earlier this year I got off my butt and made BG2 Productions a reality by forming it as a Sole Proprietorship. It was great in the beginning but I wanted the company to be a more official, efficient, entity, one that would serve my needs more so than its prior incarnation. Hence the creation of BG2 Productions, Inc. my official art studio.
I’m in business baby

Finally! After months of bullshit, and friggin red tape, I now hold my Passport! I can now explore other countries and locales. I can see what the world has to offer beyond this continent. I feel a bit more empowered

Just got home to find a letter from the Dept. of Health Demographic Registry of Puerto Rico. Just what I was waiting for! Inside were 3 copies of my PR birth certificate, with the official seal and all that good crap. What really made my day was that this letter was supposed to show up six weeks after they received my request which was mailed in on Sept. 9th.
So tomorrow I’ll mail a copy of my new birth certificate to the National Passport Center and cross my fingers. Wish me luck!

I received another letter from the National Passport Center on Friday. According to this letter my birth certificate (which they referred to as a “Puerto Rican Citizenship Certificate”) is not evidence of me being a US citizen. I now have to make contact with Puerto Rico and obtain a certified birth certificate. I gave these assholes the only piece of paper I have marking my birth. Every other agency or organization in this country has never had an issue with my birth certificate. Now I’m being told that it doesn’t prove citizenship? So am I an illegal alien now? Hell if I know. What I do know is that I’m being made to jump through a bunch of hoops for no apparent reason. I don’t have any criminal record, I pay my taxes (like any of us have a choice in that matter), so why am I being treated like a mouse in a maze?
Ah, well. Hopefully when I get my papers from PR my Passport will be right behind it.
