Time to get back to the grind. My dad’s already on his plane back to St. Croix, at 2 pm I’ll be back on a train to New York. It was a great visit, no arguments, lots of laughs and good talks. Here’s some pics from last night:

My dad just got a package of his belongings delivered to him from the correctional facility he was in. there are sketchbooks and scripts of mine from 1992 !

Hanging out with my father is great. I’m seeing a lot of similarities in our behavior and mindset. It’s pretty scary actually. I’ll be posting pics and scans of art work some time this week.

I haven’t traveled out of state in a while. Never really cared to actually. I have a good reason to now: My father. After 17 years of incarceration my father has been released. And I have to admit there’s no words to describe how it feels talking to him face to face instead of over the phone with a 15 minute time limit. We’ve got a week to hang out together before he has to return to the V.I. and I have to return to New York. I’ll post some pics when I get a chance.
